Poland is a ideal place where you can pass your spring holidays. It is an excellent place for not many daytime trips as well as one time trips. Poland is famous of its memorials and historical areas. Most of suggested areas to visit are situated in the north part of Republic of Poland. Some of the most important areas are: wieliczka salt mine and Auschwitz tours. Wieliczka salt mine is placed in Wieliczka, about thirteen kilometres from Kraków city centre.

It will take about twenty minutes to reach there from Kraków. You can choose few types of journeys in the salt mine. Those are: Tourist pathway, miners’ pathway, pilgrims’ pathway, the route called “The mine for grownups and little ones”, group adventure and mysteries of the Wieliczka mine tour. As you can see the Wieliczka Salt Mine provides more than you can wait for. What is more, you are able to be underground more than two hours of doing a tour – you can stay there during the night. The salt mine provides 2 possibilities of accommodation underground. The 1st one is Słowacki’s Chamber and the second 1 is Western Mountains’ Stable Chamber.

Słowacki’s Chamber is located 125 metres underground. It is a modern accommodation which will satisfy the most serious customers. Furthermore, the only one of its kind microclimate and surroundings will make the dwell more pleasant. The 2nd location is Western Mountains’ Building and it is situated 10 metres lower than Słowacki’s Caving. It was a building for horses, but now it is a modern places to be in overnight and relax. In the Wieliczka Salt mine you can also organize discussions, business consultations, wedding ceremony and plenty other parties. Another location worth visiting in Małopolska region is Auschwitz.

Auschwitz used to be a concentration site located in Oświecim (Auschwitz in German language) approximately 70 kilometres from Kraków. You can move there easily from Cracow within one hour.
